The Employment Act (2002) has introduced the benefits of
flexible working. If you allow your work force to operate
in a more flexible way it improves staff retention, productivity
and reduces stress and reduces the pressure on office space.
For both legal and commercial reasons, companies are now
required to think about their workforce and workspace in a
more holistic way. Aside from the considerable staff benefits,
companies will also benefit from a workspace that works harder
for them! Hotelling, hot-desking and home working, allow more
people to operate from a smaller space.
JG Regan has been successfully implementing flexible working
practices for many years and we are at the forefront of these
exciting and dynamic workplace changes. We have first-hand
practical experience of the implementation and communication
processes required, and have headed-up projects for a variety
of company sizes, from 30 people to 3,500!
JG Regan uses a design-led approach and is able to make new,
flexible practices really work for everyone involved.
The Client - will benefit from their office space
working in a more efficient manner. This could mean there
is more space for meeting rooms, more desks can be fitted
into an area or more people can be based at fewer desks. The
introduction of more robust, best practice processes for documents
and records will enable sustainable file management.
The Client's Staff - will benefit from greater efficiencies,
easier retrieval of documents and knowledge, a more flexible
working situation including home-working, hotelling or hot-desking,
and a more pleasant and user-friendly working environment.
Interior Designers - will benefit from our input,
as we are able to ensure that the client storage does not
adversely affect their design aesthetics.
